Information about the department
Panchayat Division, G.P. All Gram Panchayats in the district are controlled through Bhandara. Grants received under the 15th Finance Commission, Jan Suvidha Yojana, Nagar Suvidha Yojana are distributed to Gram Panchayats for development work through this department.
Introduction
According to the Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Act, the following tasks are handled by the Class-3 and Class-4 employees of the Panchayat Department under G.P.Bhandara.
- Promotion to the post of Extension Officer (Pt/ Agriculture) from the cadre of Gram Panchayat Adhikari.
- Working of Panchayat Department and Gram Panchayat at P.S. level coming under Zilla Parishad take control
