Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Rural

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the poor and homeless people of the country are helped to build houses and with the help of this amount, citizens below the poverty line can build their own houses.

Beneficiary:

Beneficiaries are selected from a permanent waiting list prepared by the Gram Sabha

Benefits:

Housing construction cost Rs. 1.20 lakhs and to Naxal affected/mountainous beneficiaries Rs. 1.30 lakh per beneficiary as financial assistance is permissible.
