    Introduction

    Information about the department

    Department of Agriculture, Z.P. Bhandara through Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi SwavalambanYojana, Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana, New National Biogas and Organic Fertilizer Management Programme, and providing agricultural materials (tarpaulin, PVC / HDPE pipe) to the farmers of the district on 50% subsidy are implemented.

    Introduction

    According to the Maharashtra Zilla Parishadand Panchayat Samiti Act 1961, Z.P. Bhandara in Agriculture Departmentthe following works are handled under Class-3 and Class-4.

    1. Promotion from the cadre of Extension Officer (Agriculture) to Agriculture Officer.
    2. Organizing and controlling the meetings of the Agricultural Committee held under the Zilla Parishad.
    3. Controlling the work ofAgriculture Department of Panchayat Samiti comes under the Zilla Parishad

    Vision and Mission

    To provide the benefit of the scheme to maximum farmers by promoting and publicizing the schemes implemented through the Department of Agriculture at the village level.

    Objectives and Functions

    1. To review the various development work going on in the area of ​​work and where the progress of the work is not satisfactory Or solving any problems on site if any.
    1. To check Subordinate zonal officers and employees satisfactorily perform assigned tasks and duties or not
    2. To inspect whether the administrative work in the field office and the project site, financial and accounting matters are done according to the rules prescribed by the government or not.,Dissemination of government and local schemes through ZillaParishad by contacting the local people.,To obtain the cooperation of local people and public representatives in implementing various development schemes.
    3. To achieve the above purpose for officers and employees of ZillaParishad and PanchayatSamiti to the following extent tours and overnight stays are prescribed.
