    Department of Minor Irrigation, Z.P. Bhandara through District Annual Scheme Head of 2702-6695 K.T. Weirs / Storage Bandhara Construction & Repair, 2702-6686 M.I. Tank Repair, 2225 E 311 TL 170008 (OTSP) K.T. Weirs / Storage Bandhara Construction & Repair, District Fund 101-27 Special Repair M.I. Work, Jalyukta Shiwar Abhiyan 2.0, Ex.     Introduction

    According to the Maharashtra Zilla Parishadand Panchayat Samiti Act 1961, Z.P. Bhandara in Minor Irrigation Zilla Parishad Department the following works are handled under Class-3 and Class-4.

    1. Promotion from the cadre of Civil Engineer Ass. (Civil) to Water Conservation Officer.
    2. Organizing and controlling the meetings of the Special Repair M.I. Work Committee held under the Zilla Parishad.
    3. Controlling the work of Minor Irrigation Zilla Parishad Department of Panchayat Samiti comes under the Zilla Parishad

    Vision and Mission

    To provide the benefit of the scheme to maximum public by promoting and publicizing the schemes implemented through the Department of  Minor Irrigation Zilla Parishad  at the village level.

    Objectives and Functions

    1. To review the various development work going on in the area of ​​work and where the progress of the work is not satisfactory Or solving any problems on site if any.
    2. To check Subordinate zonal officers and employees satisfactorily perform assigned tasks and duties or not
    3. To inspect whether the administrative work in the field office and the project site, financial and accounting matters are done according to the rules prescribed by the government or not, Dissemination of government and local schemes through Zilla Parishad by contacting the local people, To obtain the cooperation of local people and public representatives in implementing various development schemes.
    4. To achieve the above purpose for officers and employees of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti to the following extent tours and overnight stays are prescribed as per Govt.Rules.
